Feelings vessel through my veins
and end up somewhere near my brain
my head, it seems, cannot contain
these contents under pressure
without making me insane
Seeping pain causes my heart to ache
Innumerous times it's bound to break
All this hurt from one mistake
that I can barely remember
why I thought it to make
I take the brunt and keep it inside
My unspoken rules of which I'm forced to abide
All that torments me, I make sure I hide
So that they never see
that deep within me the devil resides
